Netzah Yehuda mourns five heroes

In a tragic incident on Tuesday morning near Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza, five soldiers of the Netzah Yehuda Battalion—part of the IDF’s Kfir Brigade—lost their lives when their unit encountered an explosive device during a routine advance. Fourteen additional soldiers were wounded and evacuated to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The fallen have been identified as:

  • Staff Sergeant Meir Shimon Amar, 20, Jerusalem

  • Sergeant Moshe Nissim Frech, 20, Jerusalem

  • Staff Sergeant Noam Aharon Musgadian, 20, Jerusalem

  • Sergeant Major Benyamin Asulin, 28, Haifa

  • Staff Sergeant Moshe Shmuel Noll, 21, Beit Shemesh

According to military sources, the platoon was moving on foot alongside armored engineering units when they entered a mined area. The initial blast was followed by hostile gunfire during the evacuation, compounding the devastation.

In a statement released today, the Netzah Yehuda Organization expressed profound sorrow at the loss. “We bow our heads in honor of these brave young men who gave their lives for the safety and future of Am Yisrael,” the statement read. “Their sacrifice is a true Kiddush Hashem—sanctifying G-d’s name through their unwavering commitment to the Jewish people and the Land of Israel.”

The organization also extended its support to the families of the injured and called upon friends and supporters worldwide to unite in reciting Tehilim for the soldiers’ swift recovery. A dedicated prayer booklet is available here:
